The Countdown is on for the 2024 Employee Climate Survey!

This coming Wednesday, April 17, Mecklenburg County will be launching the Employee Climate Survey (ECS). The information provided in the survey is essential as we work together to shape the future of Mecklenburg County.

Throughout the past two decades, your feedback from the ECS has been instrumental in driving numerous changes. Read about the County Leadership Response to the survey on the Employee Climate Survey SharePoint site. Also check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for the survey.

Look out for your invitation to take the survey on April 17.

    Wellness Incentive: Complete qualifying activities to earn a medical premium reduction. Learn more about the June 30 deadline and the
     
  • Wellness Incentive activities.
    Wellness Leave: Regular full-time employees earn 16 hours of Wellness Leave and regular part-time employees earn 12 hours of Wellness Leave. These hours do not roll over and expire on June 30.

Dr. Washington to Lead National Organization

Public Health Director Dr. Raynard Washington has been tapped to be the new chair for Big Cities Health Coalition (BCHC). 

BCHC is a national forum for the leaders of America's largest metropolitan health departments to exchange strategies and jointly address issues to promote and protect the health and safety of the 61 million people they serve. Together, these public health officials directly affect the health and well-being of nearly 1 in 5 Americans.
